The Wine
It is a vin de guard that coveys well the terroir of the Quinta do Côtto. It possesses intense aromas and flavours of fruits and spices, and is a very fine and complex wine. The characteristic tannins derived from the Portuguese oak are amply present, endowing the wine with the character and elegance that make it unique.
The Côtto Grande Escolha is produced from vineyards that are at least 25 years old and is solely in years of exceptional quality.
