“Reflexo Douro” Advertising Campaign

Quinta do Côtto launched an advertising campaign with the slogan “Reflexo Douro” (Reflection of the Douro), which seeks to convey the message that one of the most historic labels of the region has been able to adapt itself to the changing times while simultaneously holding on to those long-standing values, such as quality and authenticity, that are embedded in its decades of experience in the sector.

For wine producer Miguel Champalimaud, the slogan “Reflexo Douro” manages to convey to consumers the unmistakeable message of personality and sophistication, modernity, authenticity, all of which are qualities that should be present in the best wines produced in the Douro region and without which no good wine will ever be a great wine. Quinta do Côtto is therefore a reflection of the entire wine producing region, which is one of the most recognised in terms of quality and innovation.

This advertising campaign began in April when several advertisements were published in printed press and a film was released in some shopping centres of the country. The campaign represented a total investment of 250 thousand euros and was divided into two phases, April to May and September to November.
